About

Hi! I’m Erin Fowler, founder of CanopyBear.

I began my formal training in energy work with the Dr. Mikao Usui traditional Reiki method over 15 years ago in Columbus, Ohio, and continued my study in the San Francisco Bay Area, under the Redwoods of Mount Tamalpais.

In my practice, I draw from my studies in: somatic education (about the body), Alexander Technique, The Feldenkrais Method, subtle energy medicine work, hands-on healing, visualization, constructive rest, meditation, breathing exercises, body mapping and awareness through movement education, Yumana, dance, Pilates, yoga, intuitive arts, speech language pathology and speech/hearing science. The result is a holistic Reiki session that we call Clarity Reiki, which helps clients be empowered, lighthearted, energetic, centered, focused, comfortable and confident in your body.

In addition to being a Reiki practitioner, I am a certified Ho’oponopono practitioner and a speech language pathologist, where I am naturally a bridge for children and adults with disabilities to their communication circles. My speech therapy sessions are supported by Reiki and Ho’oponopono energy and intuitive gifts. I offer speech language therapy services through my business, Clarity Loft.

Healing arts and intuitive skills have come naturally to me since I was a child and are part of my ancestral history. I enjoy helping others move forward on their journey of healing which often involves feelings of strengthening one’s connection to their higher-selves and Spirit. Thank you for being here.

About CanopyBear

CanopyBear Reiki & Healing Arts is a sanctuary, dedicated to help you replenish your own healing energies so you can feel energized, whole, peaceful, more connected, empowered, and more you. We specialize in hands-on healing and distance Reiki, mind-body energy work, education, intuitive arts, and Reiki-infused gifts.

CanopyBear combines two symbols of protection and strength — the forest’s canopy overhead invokes a feeling of being enwrapped by Mother Nature. The trees rise from deeply grounded roots, forming a beautiful shelter that lets in much needed sunlight. The bear of the forest has an effortless, powerful presence and can climb up the trees to see a clear perspective from above. It goes inward and relaxes in its’ den, is nurturing and playful, and can use unrelenting force in the protection of its’ proclaimed space and bear family. It is at ease in both its’ courage and enjoying the sweet honey of life.

I hope that you find CanopyBear a protected, beautiful temple of healing and acceptance; a place that feels like home, to visit as often as you like. We are here and will help you gain strength and support the care of your well-being by offering something that is missing from mainstream medicine and educational systems.

Sessions are an opportunity to speak freely about concerns and celebrations without judgement. As a sanctuary, our environment is one of support and safety. We hold protected space and time so that you can release unneeded energy and to fill up on love, strength, truth, peace, fun and excitement.
